09:32 am - Oh what to do?
I must admit the whole summer off thing is pretty nice. However the entire summer filled up really quickly and I'm not really sure what happened to my life.

Right now is pretty boring because I physically can't move around too much. I had the kidney stone removed last week (yay) but lets just say the cure is as bad as the ailment. I simply cannot believe that on Tuesday I will feel fantastic after the doctor's appointment. :)

Wednesday I'm helping Jane Mendlick teach a flute session for her band camp and after that I'm driving to Emory and Henry College in VA to see Will and his family at summer institute. The week after that I'm teaching at flute camp in the mornings and getting my life back together in the afternoons. I'm also going to a coworker's wedding (it's going to be gorgeous) that weekend.

Sigh, that leaves travelling to see friends and family and moving in July. Most of my family hasn't seen me since last summer. Most of my friends in G'boro haven't seen me since November. I feel like I should be on a WTF happened to so and so? shows. I'm really hoping that we can get a rottie or some kind of canine companionship so that I can remember this as the summer we got a dog instead of the summer that was eaten by events.

Your moving? Where are you moving to? I have a friend that went to Emory and Henry. Apparantly not too many people have actually heard of that school. You can have one of my dogs- I have 5 in my house right now. 2 are just staying for the week, 2 are actually mine, and 1 is Trenton's brother's pit bull who is staying the summer. Pretty soon you'll see me on the news getting arrested for hundreds of dogs running around.

I read about the doggie fiasco in your place, Good luck with that. We don't know where we're moving just yet. We want to get a house so the dog can run around. There's a strong possibility that we're getting a rottie in August!!!!!

Re: yikes

You should live in the University area. It's pretty cheap and nice. I have a friend who's selling her house with a fenced in yard that would be fabulous for a Rottie because she has one. Look at www.carolinahome.com for resales and new homes. You can search by area and price and size.
